What to expectOn the night of Holy Saturday, handmade rockets are fired between the Vrontados parishes of Agios Markos and Panagia Erithiani, lighting the sky in one of Chios’s best-known Easter traditions. The spectacle is dramatic, but arrangements and viewing areas can change from year to year.
