Why walk it
The town read in one hour: waterfront, market, castle gate and the Ottoman and Genoese layers inside it.
The route
1Walk the harbour front from the ferry berths to the fishing quay.
2Turn inland into the market streets and cross Vounaki square.
3Enter the castle by the main gate and walk the inner lanes, the Ottoman baths and the small museum.
4Come out on the sea side of the walls and follow them back to the harbour.
