Giosonas

Γιόσωνας

Giosonas is a long, open pebble beach north of Kardamyla, facing directly into the Aegean with a striking sense of space and horizon. Its clear, deep water can be magnificent on calm days, while northerly winds give it a wilder character than the more enclosed coves nearby. It suits swimmers who enjoy an expansive, less sheltered beach.

Candid note

Because the beach is open to the Aegean, wind and waves matter more here than in sheltered coves; choose a calm day for the best swim.
