The experience
Kalamoti is one of the larger Mastichochoria and offers a more everyday glimpse of southern Chios. Its streets, churches and surrounding mastic fields are part of a living village rather than a preserved showpiece, which gives the visit a relaxed, authentic rhythm. It sits naturally between Armolia, Pyrgi and the beaches around Komi.
